Through professional, university, and civic partnerships, we perform rigorous academic research and analysis of domestic and international trafficking trends and issues. We then apply our findings to crafting effective, creative, and targeted interventions.

Through the HERA Program, we provide job training to formerly trafficked women in the Boston area. Internationally, we are engaged in various grassroots collaborations. In addition to research and building of strategic partnerships, BITAHR is focused on outreach and awareness around issues of human trafficking; commercial sexual exploitation; and gender-based human rights violations.
